Chef Matthew Currey brings 20 years of culinary talent to your fingertips. Matthew grew up in the mountains of Colorado and attended the University of Colorado in Boulder. He got his start in the Culinary field cooking at the notable Boulder Broker Inn and the Flagstaff House Restaurant. From there he traveled to Chicago, Illinios as an apprentice chef, working for Chefs like Charlie Trotter and Michael David Smith. From there his travels took him to the island of St. Thomas in the U.S.V.I. where he became the Executive Chef at Hotel 1829. His tenure lasted for 6 years, until he returned to the states to get married. Matthew made his home in Denver, Colorado where he was the Executive Sous Chef/Banquet under the celebrated Chef Jennifer Jasinski. Chef Matthew Currey's experience continued to advance, training and learning from the celebrated Chefs he worked for. He moved to Boston, Massachussettes where he continued his culinary quest as a private Chef/event planner. After a few years he was invited to join the Flying B Ranch in Kamiah, Idaho. The Flying B Ranch is an elite hunting lodge specializing in wingshooting, big game hunts and fishing. With his extensive credentials and a passion for cooking, Chef Currey has continued his legacy in the culinary world. He specializes in preparing wild game, fresh caught steelhead and game birds to guests delight. With Matthew’s culinary skill, he can accommodate almost any request or dietary need.
